Overview

Artisti del Vegetariano is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Milan on Corso Magenta, offering a refined vegetarian dining experience that resonates with both locals and visitors seeking fresh, health-conscious fare. This spot focuses on delivering dishes that are predominantly vegan, making it an ideal destination for those who cherish plant-based cuisine crafted with care and creativity.

The menu is thoughtfully curated, highlighting standout options like the Erbette Con Pinoli—a delicate blend of leafy greens with toasted pine nuts— and the Tofu Pomodoro Olive e Capperi, a medley where tender tofu meets vibrant tomato sauce, accented by briny olives and capers. These dishes showcase the kitchen’s commitment to balancing bold, natural flavors with wholesome ingredients.

Beyond entrées, Artisti del Vegetariano excels with its creamy and velvety textures, such as the Crema di Ceci al Rosmarino—a vegan chickpea cream infused with aromatic rosemary—and the refreshing Crema di Yogurt e Cetriolo, blending yogurt with cucumber and gentle spices. These selections demonstrate the restaurant's skill at elevating simple, plant-based components into memorable culinary moments.

For those with a sweet tooth, the dessert offerings provide a thoughtful conclusion. The Torta al Torroncino e Cioccolato blends crunchy hazelnut nougat with smooth chocolate in a delicate pastry shell. At the same time, the Crostata di Frutti di Bosco celebrates seasonal berries with a buttery crust—both desserts reflect artisanal attention to detail and natural ingredients.

The space itself is modest but welcoming, with a simple atmosphere that encourages a focus on the food. Although the venue lacks on-site restrooms, it compensates with eco-conscious choices like compostable disposables and hand sanitizer stations, emphasizing sustainability alongside the plant-based menu.

Artisti del Vegetariano caters to a range of diners: health enthusiasts, committed vegans, and those curious about vegetarian dining alike will find their expectations met and often exceeded. The option to enjoy dishes served hot or cold allows for a personalized experience that suits various preferences and occasions.

While some patrons note that prices might seem above average, the quality of freshly prepared dishes and the variety available by weight make it a worthwhile endeavor. The attentive staff enhances the visit, often adding small gestures like complimentary desserts that turn a simple meal into a gracious experience.

In sum, Artisti del Vegetariano stands out as a captivating choice for anyone in Milan seeking vibrant, plant-based dishes that refresh the palate and nourish the body. Its focus on seasonal, local ingredients and innovative vegetarian cuisine makes it a true artist’s palette for the vegetarian diner.

95% vegan! Place is simple and has no toilets, so eating in you have to manage with hand sanitaser (provided). All disposables are compostable plastic, which is good. Two plates with various choices, water and a juice 48€ (see pic)

My husband and I were keen to eat healthy so found this place. It was delicious! Really tasty, mostly vegan, healthy dishes full of vegetables. The food is by weight - we spent about 13.50 euros for each plate.

Mostly all vegan, tonnes of options, I took ages to decide! They have vegan cheese dishes and give you the option to heat your dish or have cold. I would say some of the dishes needed more salt for my taste but it was a great lunch spot. Seen a lot of people on here complaining about the price but it’s really not that expensive if you don’t overload your plate. We spent €18.50 each for a plate and drink which I thought is pretty good for freshly made deli food.

This was one of the only places in the area that we could find that did vegan options. It’s a little pricey but I honestly enjoyed it. I can’t remember the names of the dishes but they were filling and hearty. One was a bean mix I had with cous cous and something that looked like vegan meatballs. So delicious. The Panna cotta was alright but not great. The lady was so lovely she gave us a compliment dessert as well!

I'm a big supporter of fully vegetarian/vegan places so was happy to find this one. There are no English translations written but the staff were helpful explaining the ingredients. Me and my partner tried quite a few dishes and had mixed feelings: the risotto was try and lacking flavour, the aranchini was OK but far from the real thing, the different rolls and small bites were better seasoned, the gnocchi was great, and the chocolate desserts amazing. Overpriced for what it was (39€ for 2 small plates of mixed dishes and 9€ for 2 desserts).
